Allegheny Highlands Trail
The Allegheny Highlands Trail offers 25 miles of non-motorized recreation surrounded by exceptional scenery. Following the original route of the West Virginia Central & Pittsburg Railway built by Henry Gassaway Davis in 1884, the trail delivers a panorama of landscapes from small towns and rural farmland to wooded forests and sweeping riverside vistas. For those who want to bike, country roads form loops along the Trail.
